Learning Resource iNterchange (LRN) is Microsoft Corporation's implementation of the Instructional Management Systems Global Learning Consortium (IMS) Content Packaging 1.1 and Metadata 1.2 Specifications — industry standards for the interchange of online learning content.

LRN also supports the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) 1.2 reference model developed by the ADL (Advance Distributed Learning).
