Synchronous
training involves an immediate, real-time dialogue among instructor
and participants, whether it is in a physical or virtual
classroom.
Synchronous learning, by definition, is instructor-led
training.
The
advantage of the synchronous learning method is that participants
can immediately have their questions answered, collaborate with
others in the class, and learn from each other's experience. It
is a much more engaging and therefore, usually much more
effective method for delivering course subject matter, when
compared to asynchronous
learning.
